16th annual conference: "ecological issues and quality of life"

Under the sponsorship of the Minister of Social Solidarity and Chairman of Board of Directors of the NCSCR, Ghada Waly, the 16th Annual Conference titled "Ecological Issues and Quality of Life": towards a comprehensive Egyptian strategy was held.


The opening session was on Monday, corresponding to 22nd of December 2014.

 

The conference was attended by elite of academics, ministers, researchers in different fields, and representatives of competent ministries and institutes.


Prof. Dr. Nesrin El-Baghdady, Director of NCSCR, headed the conference and recited the opening speech, in which she pointed to the importance of the topic, as 2014 Constitution asserted on the quality and improvement of life for citizens and its relation to ecological issues, continual development, human rights, future generations rights, as well as highlighting the social and economic cost of ecological problems.
